Prescriptions are processed within 48 hours. e-prescriptions can then be redeemed at any pharmacy using your health insurance card. However, there are exceptions, such as prescriptions for medical aids, vaccines and controlled substances.

Please state the relevant speciality (e.g. ophthalmology) and the reason for your appointment. Processing times and arrangements will depend on the nature of the prescription request.

Please be sure to provide your full name, date of birth and a contact number. The relevant doctor will get back to you as soon as possible. If your usual doctor is unavailable, a specialist will call you back.
